student pt11 upgrade to pt11hd

Hi. I have received the email for the free pt11 Student upgrade. My question is....how can I upgrade to the HD version?
IOW, what is the cost to upgrade from the student version to the hd version of 11?

The upgrade was made available for pt10+cptk to HD 11 for 599$ (usd) and pt9+cptk to hd 11 for 999$ (usd), not from vanilla 11 to HD 11. Hope that clarifies things.

Thanks Emcha, I did see that. I was just wondering is there a STUDENT DISCOUNT before I download the vanilla version. I thought that there would be a Student upgrade price of $99.00. At least that's what I heard.

Not in a million years. When Avid offers an upgrade price from vanilla to HD for $99 is when hell freezes over

To clarify, if you bought a student edition with 4yrs of free upgrades and are still within your 4yr deal, Avid will still honor the deal. The $99 update price is for people who no longer fall under the 4yr deal (ended) or students who buy a student version now. Avid no longer carries the deal with student editions, going forward future student purchases will require a $99 fee to upgrade to a new release (PT 12)

There is no upgrade path from vanilla to HD. The only option is to buy HD Hardware. Believe me if there was one I would of bought it :)
