Default PTLE and m-audio?

Hey everybody;

I was wondering if PTLE is compatible with M-Audio interfaces. I currently have a PTM-powered system and want to upgrade to LE for more editing capabilities. I just wanted to know if I can keep my audio interface, or if I need to get one for LE. If so, what are some good audio interfaces for LE?

No. LE only works with Digidesign interfaces.

Mbox
Mbox 2
Mbox 2 mini
Mbox 2 pro
002r
002

Those are your choices. In my opinion, they are all good for what they do. Specifications vary for each product, and recommendations should really be based on what you need. I could tell you that the Mbox 2 mini is a great interface, but if you need more than one mic input or more than 2 simultaneous inputs it would be the wrong recommendation for you, know what I mean?

Product Information details can be found on a link at the top of this forum.

However, I'd also like to point out that the "editing capabilities" of both the Mpowered version and the LE version are identical. The only real difference is the ability to add the DV Toolkit and the Digitranslator options.
