12.5.1 has been fairly solid except I've been getting some Assertion error or something when trying to create a new session. Also had problems opening sessions created on older versions of PT (.ptf) that Pro Tools 10 has no problems opening. So I tried 12.5.2 again and got the spinning beach ball within 30 minutes. Wtf?!

What were you doing at the moment that the beachball appeared?

Those assertion errors or something are the worst, except for those other somethings.

Trying to insert UAD Bx V3. In my 25 months on owning UAD, Pro Tools has never froze when opening a UAD plugin...until now.

Oh, and just like the following thread, there was no backup session saved AT ALL. So everything I did in the session since my last manual save 30 minutes prior to the crash was GONE!

So you're saying A is the worst except when B happens and causes C
