Thanks to you both. Having not seen the Omni Mixer application before, I'll guess that something similar is not possible with my 192-based setup.

Happy that Core Audio AVID HDX AES/EBU output is working for now, though.

Yes, the Omni has its own specific FPGA mixer chip internally that Runs separate from ProTools. No other Avid made HD/HDX interface has it (of course the DAD made MTRX has its own mixer too)

Yes, makes sense. For now I'm sticking with the Core Audio function routed thru one of our 192's AES "Enclosed" outputs. It's quite nice to have that function again, even if Pro Tools does have to be closed when Core is working.
