No sound in XP

Hi all,

Since I've moved I can't get any sounds out of my PC.

Pro Tools works okay, but when I want to play a song in let's say I Tunes, I don't get any volume. This wasn't a problem before I installed internet.

I can play system noises, and in my configuration screen (Windows XP Professional), my digi 002 is the standard aplliance to play all audio, and the control panel says it works corectely.

However, in the part 'Volume' it says 'no audio device', and all the buttons are greyed out so I can't choose my Digi.

No conflicts otherwise in the configuration scream, and all devices, digi included, claim to work correctely.

Anyone an idea what might the problem?

I suspect it has something to do with ASIO driver. Maybe the file is corrupted? Not sure on the proper fix other than a re-install or Windows recovery under System Restore. I just run a cable from my soundcard out to the RCA aux inputs on the 002 and push the Alt Source button when I want to hear from Windows.
