Default PACE extensions problem with Waves Plugins

Hello, due to moving on to OSX 10.5 (Leopard) and ProTools HD 7.4.2 I get the following message when launching ProTools: "Required software extensions are missing. Click on the "OK" button, and you will be transferred to the PACE web site where an installer can be downloaded."
After downloading and installing the extensions I still get this message when ProTools is launching and scanning the Waves Plugins. Any idea?
Regards, Detlef Brockmann

Hi,

Have you got the Waves 5.9.7 waveshell installed?

Chris

no. This is what I did install:

1. WavesGold_V5.2.1.dmg
2. Waves5PT7PCIx3.dmg

It is a "Waves" problem since all other Plugins are working fine. Also this is what it says on the PACE page:

IMPORTANT!
If you're running Mac OS X 10.5 or above and your software keeps driving you back to this site, even after installing the latest extensions, then you need to update your software, not the extensions. Contact the publisher of the software you're trying to use regarding a 10.5 compatible update. Please don't contact PACE. Only the publisher of your software can resolve this issue.

I guess I have to talk to Waves.

Cheers, Detlef.

This is going to be a bit tricky since the versions are a bit dated now...

PACE extensions, to my experience seem to be associated with the iLok licensing, so you might need to reinstall the iLok software.

I just don't know whether the current version is compatible, or whether the you can get your hands on an older version.

I'm assuming you're still on Leopard because you are running an Intel machine.

How's that? Intel machines were supported since 10.4 Tiger but PPC support ended with 10.5 Leopard.

Ahhhh Noooo Damn!! That's what happens when I don't proof read...

I meant to say PPC. Damn it. I was assuming he was on a PPC. At a guess G5.

I really must proof read more often!!
