Default 12.8.2 iLok issues

My HD plan is valid until 9/2018 but I'm receiving the error that my plan doesn't support this version of Pro Tools. I have installed the latest version of iLok manager and have re-synced my iLok with no luck. Any ideas?

Please check the Release Limit date on your license (Show Details in iLok License Manager) to make sure that is correct.

I was able to get a response from Avid support, all is well. Very quick I must add.

Hi,
I probably have the same issue? Just installed 12.8.2 which was showing in my Avid Account Download Links and now I get the following error.



Needless to say everything was working AOK yesterday with 12.8.1 :roll eyes:

For the record my Annual Upgrade plan expires on Sep 04, 2018.
iLok license manager shows Pro Tools Perpetual Bundle deposited 27/09/2016.

So anyone got a solution please? I was hoping to get some work done

Just tried opening Pro Tools using "Open" from Avid Application Manager for a second time and Pro Tools has decided to start up?!



Anyhow, back to work

Double checked your Pro Tools Perpetual Bundle (with 10/11/12) and it has a Release Limit date of 2018-09-04, so that matches your Upgrade Plan's term. (You can check this if you Show Details for the license in iLok License Manager.)

My protools plan on ilok expired and did not reflect the current status. I had renewd the plan already.
Support told me that I have to synchronice the ilok with the ilok manager.
I did it and the Pt plan went 1 year ahead and all was good then.

Thanks for sharing that info. Syncing the iLok and making sure your iLM software is current are good first steps to take when experiencing trouble. Note also that a Pro Tools Plan license is the subscription license provided with the original Pro Tools Upgrade and Support Plan and later the Plug-Ins and Support Plan that simply authorizes the bonus Space plug-in.
