trouble with Trilian WIN XP install

greetings all,

I'm having difficulty installing Trilian on a Win XP SP3 system. After completing the install, updating the software, patches and soundsources I am unable to see the instrument in ProTools 8.0.1.

install versions:
Software version 1.1.3c
Soundsources 1.0.1
Patches 1.0.3a

updated using the current patched from the Spectrasonics website.

I've watched the install videos & read the install manual multiple times over the past three days and four attempted installs.

This is my first STEAM install and I am installing to a eSATA drive. I have also tried installing it to my C: drive with no luck. In my PT plug-in folder I see two Trilian files:
Trilianwrapper.dpm & Trilianwrapper.dpm.rsr

This is my firstvirtual instrument install,m but I'm expecting to see Trilian under the "Instrument" section of the inserts with Boom and the other VIs.
