Exclamation Fix for Pro Tools SE Quick Start Failure on Mac OS X

(From the Pro Tools SE Getting Started page)

Mac Users Note: If you have ever had Adobe/Macromedia Shockwave software installed, please see this article to download a fix for a known issue that will cause Pro Tools SE to quit on startup under Mac OS X.

Pro Tools SE will quit on launch if Shockwave has ever been installed (Mac)
Quote:
Problem: If a customer has ever installed Shockwave on their system, the Pro Tools SE Quick Start Menu will give an error and force Pro Tools to quit. This is a Mac-only issue and will occur even if Shockwave has been uninstalled.

Solution: Download and run the shockwave fix linked below...
