Getting parts for control 24? need rotary encoder pots replacing!
Hi,
Several of the most commonly used rotary encoder pots the first 3-4 on the left, on my Control 24 have worn-out and are no longer functioning correctly, so i was wondering if they are available anywhere and whether they are easy enough to fit. Chris

Re: Getting parts for control 24? need rotary encoder pots replacing!
I'd open it up and get the manufacturer number off them, and order a ton of them online. Bet you can get them out of China for $1.00 or $2.00 each TOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've found this to be the case with MANY electronics - including touch screens for Triton's (Origional Triton Keyboard touchscreen through Korg was $450, got it from the manufacturer for $150) You may likely have to un-solder one to get numbers, depending on where they're stamped. If you can't get them from Digi, this may be your only option. If you do have to order some, and find them in China or wherever, let me know and I'll buy a bunch with ya. If I'm in mine anytime soon I'll look you up here and tell you what they are (If I don't have to remove one to find out) Also, if you get the number and shoot me a picture of all sides I will help you locate. Simple Simple. Even then, if the origional isn't available, there will be a cheap replacement.

Chris,
Is any of that helping? I have a couple of other connections we haven't explored yet. Squatty |
