how to transfer ilok registration with no ilok...

I'm buying Smack LE of a mate, apparantly i need to transfer ilok, but on LE you don't have an ilok, so how do i go about this?

Yes, on LE you have to have an ilok for those programs that require it. You'll have to get one, start an ilock account and have your mate transfer the license to you.

Or, if you want to avoid the cost of the iLok and the transfer fee, buy the iLok and get your mate to sync it to his account. He can transfer the license to the iLok and then unsync it from his account. You create an iLok account and sync the new iLok with the license on it to your account and everyone is happy.

So instead of paying for both the iLok and the transfer, you'll just have to pay for the iLok.
