Problems with pt11 and plugins aax

Hi,

Excuse me for my english, i´m spanish.

I have pt11 and i work on win 8 64 bits.

I have installed waves 9,13 , izotope rx3 adavanced and i cant see them in pt 11. i have opened pt 10 and there i can see theme. This is driving me crazy.

Any body knows the solution?

v9r13 is 32 bit only, so you won't see them in Pro Tools 11 only Pro Tools 10. You need to download and install Waves AAX-64 bit to see them in Pro Tools 11. You also need v9r13 installed before installing the AAX-64 Waves plug-ins, so you're half-way there.

If it's not AAX-64 you won't see it in Pro Tools 11.

According to the RX3 Support page, it should be an AAX 64-bit plug-in for Pro Tools 11, but would be RTAS/AudioSuite in Pro Tools 10:

Plug-in formats:
AAX (Pro Tools 11), RTAS/AudioSuite (Pro Tools 7.4-10), VST and VST 3, Audio Unit

Also, do you have RX3 set up as a 64-bit or 32-bit application?

RX 3 is available as a 32- and 64-bit application and suite of plug-ins. The quality
of processing in both is the same, but 64-bit applications can access a higher
range of memory than 32-bit applications. If your computer has more than 4 GB
of RAM, it is recommended that you use the 64-bit application.

You can run RX in 32-bit mode if you need to use 32-bit VST, DX, or AU plugins,
or if you have a 32-bit operating system.

In Windows, run the iZotope RX (not iZotope RX 64-bit) shortcut from the Start
Menu.

In OS X, select iZotope RX in the Applications folder, right click it, and select
Get Info. You can use this menu to configure which mode RX runs in.

Maybe Im wrong but I installed Waves Complete 9r13 a couple of days ago when they told me that Waves was now AXX 64 compliant. After installing v 9r13 you have to download and install a small file called "WaveShell-AAX.exe". This makes the plugins visible in PT 11.02. Check you waves account....good luck!
