-6042 Errors

I keep getting -6042 errors (pci bus too busy) with my Digi 001 system

I have an almost identical setup as RMx16, and I have the same problem... Ive just learned to live with it tho.. Ive tried eveything to fix this and nothing helps... I get the error every 30min or so... And it happens twice in a row always... After I clear the first one, I get another one as soon as I attempt playback again....They ALWAYS happen in two's...

So many different ppl have this problem on different machines it seem impossible to figure out.... 5.0.1 doesnt help, the DAE updates dont, and lowering my SCSI card to all possible choices doesnt either...I only have the digi card and the SCSI card in...thats it...

I had this problem when I first setup my system. I have a 9600 with a 2940UW as well. It was totally inconsistant and unpredictable, but happened fairly regularly. I switched my internal cable to a cable that had the exact amount of connectors as I had hard drives, and I've only had this problem a few times (maybe 3 or 4) in nearly a month of very regular use. I also made sure that my system hard dive was first in the chain (next to the SCSI card) and my audio only drive was last. I also set the SCSI ID's to be the same (i.e. regular HD for internet and such set to 0, audio system drive to 1, and the audio only drive to 2). Please let me know if this works.
