Default Playback engine every time...

Every time I start up, I have to go into the Playback engine and run i thru once wihtout altering anything, otherwise my ouboard gear (M-One via the s/pdif) start to make a hell of a noise. Shall I really have to do that EVERY time?

(5.1.1 on a Win98SE)

Default Re: Playback engine every time...

gw
I do the same every session. I have to disable the ADAT mirror out so my lexicon reverb won't go into an input output loop ( the cause of the noise you refer to). Apparantly the default is to send a mirrored output through SPDIF so inorder to use it for outboard gear you have to disable the output. Wish I could save a new default or save as a preset. There probably is a way..i just don't know it

Can anyone at Digi give us a hint here? What are we missing?
