I noticed that myself, I use the same MBP. Avid is really putting my back to the wall with this.

Avid is really good at NOT updating parts of their website. Especially parts with needed information. Seems like they make an effort to keep it that way. I believe there are new Avid AAX-DSP plugins included in 12.2. But if you look at Avid's plugin portal, they are not listed.

By far the "hardest to find simple info" website of any company in this biz.

So are you saying it doesn't work? Or it's just not on the list?

I own a Mid 2012 15 inch MacBook Pro 2.3 GHz Quad-Core i7, 16GB RAM. I noticed that my laptop isn't mentioned on the qualified list even though the lower spec Mid 2012 13 inch MacBook Pro IS qualified. As Wall2Wall said, I'm pretty sure it's just Avid not updating their site. There is no way on earth a less powerful machine would be qualified but not a higher spec machine from the same generation (same processor generation, etc...).

Point is, considering there were model not qualified, like iMacs with fusion drives, where pt gave problems... And considering Avid have always listed all the qualified models (yeah I'm talking about since at least pt9)... And I was considering this like something serious... Also considering I bought this MacBook only to use it with pro tools... And considering next month I'll upgrade to pro tools 12... If pro tools 12 won't work properly in that MacBook I want to be refunded of the MacBook cost by avid because when I bought it it was listed and I can't afford to change the MacBook for a mistake from their part (considering also that if your computer isn't qualified, they don't take responsibility about anything...)

I use a MBPr late 2013 and PT 12.2.1 and it is smooth as glass. How can it not work on a slightly newer MBPr ?? That would be weird but I know things happen.
