Hi
When I try to install the update it says me that I need PT8 installed..
But I have PT8 installed, with the cs1 also..
I'm on OSX 10.5.6

MPTK2 sais me that I need a valid installation of PT8......

Which could be the problem?

Hi regrexion,

I see you also have started a second, similar thread in the Pro Tools LE category. Please try to avoid posting duplicate threads in different categories.

Do you have Pro Tools LE or Pro Tools M-Powered?

If both 8.0cs2 and Music Production Toolkit installers are not detecting a valid installation of Pro Tools 8, is it possible the Pro Tools.app (application file) is not currently in it's default location? If it is not, move it back and try again.

Default Location:
Macintosh HD> Applications> Digidesign> Pro Tools> "Pro Tools.app"

Sorry for the duplicate thread...my mistake.
I have protools m-powered.
Anyway...protools.app is in the right directory. Now I'm trying to re-install cs1

Ok.....Cs1 says me the same thing....I'm not able to install cs1 because I need a valid version of pt8
Very strange....

Ok....I uninstaled and reinstaled PT8 and now all works great..
I don't know what's happened
