Looks pretty neat. I just wish Digi would buy Waves and dump WUP and then I would consider their products again.

After Spending thousands of dollars on my Waves Plug-ins.
I will not pay WUP fees. It's called extortion!
If you pay for something you should get something for it.
Waves Promised FREE updates with WUP. This update is not free!!

I went to download the Vocal Bundle Demo for Mac and the download link is wrong and you end up downloading Waves GTR. I sent them a trouble report and I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

It was also very nice of them to cut the normal 14 day demo period in half. They must pride themselves on innovation in the customer screwing market.

That because they don't want to give you the 7.0 Wavesshell

It would take a major shake up at Waves before I would consider their products again. It's a matter of principle for me. If you support companies that mistreat their customers, you're just encouraging them to further mistreat you.

I do find it interesting at how we justify some company's policy while arguing against others. I have seen numerous threads complaining that Waves will charge a WUP to upgrade to HD7 - which is new to Waves (which includes Tune LT, L3 and Axx), while defending Audioease charging to upgrade their software to HD7 - which is new to them as well.

You can see my confusion. And at the end of the day, I'm not sure which upgrade costs more or which is more beneficial.

obviously if Audioease gave TDM for free as an update, we would all applaud, and yet when Waves charges for their upgrade and additional plugins, we say WUPass. Add the dollars and the value and justify your anger.

I just paid $200 to extend my WUP ( after 4 years), got Axx, Tune LT, L3 as well as an upgrade to RTAS to HD7. How much will Audioease charge to give you back functionality that you already paid for?
