I found this you guys https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-...output-device- focusrite now provides a firmware update to remedy this problem with the Audio Midi Setup, no aggregate device required, just download and you're back up! Thanks again gentlemen!

That links to the same page I posted, but through a different path. I would definitely recommend trying the firmware update when you have some downtime, as the Aggregate Devices aren't the best long-term solution with Pro Tools.

You literally have to go in there and create an aggregate device and choose the input and output. Its a workaround and worked perfectly for me after i chose the aggregate as device in my playback engine. I have followed all the instructions and created an aggregate and now my I/Os show up however when I try to enable my track for recording, when I click the red record button it shows an error that reads

"1 audio track could not be record-enabled because it doesn't have both an input and an output assigned"

Now I don't know where to go from here :/ please help!
