Error Message 6101 when recording and playback

I keep getting the error message 6101 when recording and playback. Even when I use a smaller buffer size to record and larger to playback. i realize that I have a few big plug ins like Guitar Rig and Addictive drums and thats probably the problem but in logic I never really ran into this problem. Does anyone thinks theres a possibility that I will need more ram if I want to continue recording with large plug ins. I currently have 4GB

You need to record audio to a seperate hard-drive. Are you doing this?

Install the newest Updates if not done already. I would also suggest to check and repair the disk permissions.
