Default BF thread deleted?

Am I crazy or did the recent Bomb Factory thread started by Joel get deleted? Maybe a problem with the forums?

I have tried clearing my cache/cookies/history and all the other usual browser suggestions, thinking it was a problem on my end, but even after trying that, when I do a search for it, I can't find it any mention at all. ???

Seems weird. I didn't read anything in the post that seemed inapropriate or that warranted deletion. Certainly nothing even as strongly worded as many of the comments in other current threads. Any idea what happened to this?

It's definitely gone. There was nothing outrageous in that thread. It was simply stating the facts of dealing with Bomb Factory and the owner.

This was an informative thread in the best interests of Pro Tools users. It was telling people what to expect when buying products from this company.

I think it's wrong for this to have been deleted.

Our Third Party Developer requested that this post be deleted, indicating that they would handle this directly with the poster.

Not knowing the complete facts surrounding this issue we complied with this request.

If the facts are found to be correct as stated.. it would be nice if the thread were resurrected.

I agree, this is valid information for Protools users and should be brought back. -But it's also somewhat understandable that Digi would want to protect it's developers. -Even Erik.

Should Digi be protecting its developers or its customers? Where does the money come from?

They (he) did indeed deal directly with me: here's the text:

...."[bleep].

Give me a call, bud... I can't wait to straighten your ass out.

Erik Gavriluk
President, Bomb Factory"

Charming - Anyway. Enough, let's all get on with our music.

Thanks all,

Joel

can you post an mp3 of that message? I can put it in a place Digi can't delete it.
Sounds like a great audio drop for my christmas e-mails this year.

If this is true then the thread needs to be reinstated.
