Default another external hard drive question for digi tech

i am running a g4 pwer book and pro tools 7...we are gonna be going on the road for a tour soon and want to record our shows...we are gonna be doing at least 12 tracks , but are hopeing to figure out a way to do 16.....my question is what is the absolute best external hard drive to get for this purpose
i was checking out this one http://www.cooldrives.com/newox912fi80.html
is this a good choice or is there something better....or a prefered manufacturer

I'd stay away from FW800 drives, they've been known to cause problems on the firewire bus when used in conjunction with a Firewire interface like the 002s which leads to the interface losing connection with the computer. You can search this forum and find lots of recommendations on compatible firewire drives, and if you're dead set on an FW800 drive you should get a PCMCIA firewire card for your laptop to run your interface from, which eliminates the issue of mixing 400/800 devices on the built-in bus.

i was just looking at that one cause i was on the digi design website and thats what it says to use...im up for any recomendations though....who out there uses what , and how is the performance?
