Here is a strange hiccup
Every so often I will load up a song and my aux send for reverb will not activate. No sound will go through it no matter what. I have deleted the aux track and created a new one and nothing. Then I will restart pro tools and then (but not always on the first try) it will work fine. Has this happened to anyone else?
The second issue is one time (at band camp) I loaded a session and the aux reverb track fader was down and when I push it up it automatically drops again. This isn't that big of an issue but a little annoying. Anyone? |

Re: Here is a strange hiccup
Hi,
This has happened to me. I had to exit PTLE this weekend for this reason. I've seen it maybe 5 times in the last year. Not often, but often enough to know it can happen. Cheers, Mark |

Which brings me to a question of my own: After riding a vocal by drawing volume automation, i'd sometimes like to be able to bump the whole track up or down a little while listening using the fader, and keeping the automation relative, not absolute. Does anyone know if that's possible? Steve |

Does anyone know if that's possible?

You could use the trim plug-in, or if you need more control you could send your track to an Aux track and adjust the overall volume of the aux track while your original fader automates. |

Re: Here is a strange hiccup
go to the edit window and with the trim tool up the level of the whole thing. To do this you have to go to the very end of the automation level ¨line¨. Follow?

I think i prefer the aux track method, since i like to tweak the fader while listening to the track. Obviously it's best to automate at the very last... Steve |
