We need more information... What WAVES plugins do you actuall own a license for? You download the Waves plugins from their website and install them. So If you bought Waves license you need to download the license to your Ilok or computer or a thunb drive (3 choices)... this process is done when you buy it and install theor new plugin manager software (also found on their site)... Once installed you log in (must be online when you do this- obviously) and it shows your lcense in your plug in manager software and can now choose a destination to put them (on an Ilok, the harddrive or a thumb drive)

Now if you are trying to use OLD Waves plugins with PT 10 your [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep] out of luck and need to upgrade to at least V7 (I think they are up to 9 or something for Lion and Mountain Lion compatibility but guessing on the release versions on what they upgraded))... 7 is the first version that works with 10.

To install Pro Tools sign into your account at Avid.com and you will see the 10.3 download in your account... download it from there... then make sure you get all... ALL... the Drivers you need for your equipment..... http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...nload/en379411

Register your license on Avid web site (as described on the papers in the box you received)
Download 10.3.3 from Avid and install.
You don't have to install the older version first - 10.3.3 only

That IS A CHOICE... and from what I read .3 doesnt show up in your account you have to find it on the webpage (no big deal but still... ) For my professional opinion .3 has not been out long enough to see what things have been fixed and or If anything might have been BROKEN with the version update.. so for me its 10.3.2

Pro Tols ask you where the folder is.
If you skip the wave plugin: Do Pro Tools start and work?

Ok, What did you trash??
Go to OS HardDrive > Users > Home User > Library > Preferences and trash the Waves Preferences folder.
