MIDI timing \"hiccup\"
I'm experiencing a problem now that I've updated to 6.4 and replaced my trusty MTPs with the Digi MIDI box. When recording MIDI tracks I do not use a click to count me in. I simply put the sequence in record/pause and set it to start when it sees the first MIDI impulse. That way I can just start playing and I'm recording. However, most disconcertingly, now when I do this there is a timing irregularity when I first begin playing a track, just enough of a "hiccup" that the first note or two don't land correctly and the feel is like a poke in the eye.
Please tell me there is a fix for this. I've been working this way for years and I think I'd sooner change careers than go back to listening to a 2 bar count every time I want to add a MIDI part. -R

Re: MIDI timing \"hiccup\"
There have been a lot of views of this. Has anyone else had this problem?
