Default audio track count...

I recently completed a session that utilized 24+ tracks just for vocals. I ran into issues with track availability and was forced to bounce my current mix down and import to a new session in order to access more audio tracks to finish up my vocals. I know that there is a 32 audio track limit with the LE software, however is there a workaround or some "trick" that will enable more tracks for recording? If not how adviseable is the bounce method that I metioned earlier? I was able to go back and edit the original mix and simply import the revised version and remix it with the added audio tracks. This seemed like the only way but I presume there has to be a more efficient option.

Just curious...

sirreal06,
You could always run a quick monitormix for new overdubs. Open in a new session or simply disable voices in the original session.
Bouncing down a layer of vocals is also logical...jut DON"T ever loose any original recorded tracks and keep good notes.
happy tooling,
