click track stopped working.
okay had another thread recently that had a midi usb issue that I resolved by chance with an m audio usb midi driver. (which by the way never needed as my keyboard worked fine on older pt le versions I had like 8.0.4 etc) so anyways just the other day starting a new session with same settings I always have used with no issues created a click track. it shows up in the plugin for the track etc. but when I play the session it does not play anything at all. no click no sign of a click in the meter. not sure if the usb midi driver is affecting anything. see no options to disable it in the tray icon taskbar. just curious if anybody has any ideas? thanks

Some things to check; Setup>Countoff and see if the click is set to sound during record only, and double-check the click track output. Then, with the transport window open, see if the little conductor guy is selected(my usual mistake)

well I feel like a fool. for no reason the click was unchecked in the menu. never had this happen before. I am honestly tired of pro tools changing settings without me setting it so.
