Am I Passing 24bit Audio or What
PowerMac9500/G3 300/ 208ram PT 4.31 Mix core old 888.
somebody set me straight.i use an apogee psx-100 as my front end to pro tools. i go in at 24bit. the signal then goes to my old 16bit 888 through the aes i/o. i have been told that when you go aes or spdif to the old 888or 882 you are still staying in 24bit mode even though the 888 is 16bit. if i am in 24bit am i losing anything when i hit the 888. digi??? disco??? any help would be most appreciated...... cmz
