Default No record volumes/Not a valid Audio Drive

I have a G4 Duel processor with 2 160GB Ultra ATA drives. I just bought an Mbox and installed PT 6.0, when I went to put my audio track into record mode I got an error message "No record volumes designated". After hitting ok it opened the workspace window, when I tried to select record for one of my two drives it said it wasn't a valid audio drive. I tried looking through the answer base, tried trashing volume.ddb and pro tools preferances and my OS is .6, not .2, so that was a bust. Does anyone know what is wrong here??

How did you format the drives? (FWIW, it's dual, not duel. You have dual drives, and you duel with pistols or swords.)

I'm guessing you did not properly format the drives. Read the manual (online pdf) on formatting drives for Protools.

The formatting is HFS+, I'm told that's correct for working with pro tools.
