Default 888 I/O and AES/EBU

Hello,

I've just purchased (cheap!) a used 888 interface (not an 888/24) that I plan on adding to my MIX system (PT 5.1.1 running on OS9 on a Mac 9600). I know that this interface only does 16-bit (or 18-bit) D/A and A/D conversion, but I plan on using it just to pass AES/EBU digital audio signal in and out of my system. Does anyone know if this interface will pass 24-bit AES signal in and out?

Thanks, and happy holidays!

Yes, all 888's will pass 24 bit on their digital connections.
