Region Groups in PT9 HD not working as they should??
I previously posted this on the "Pro Tools HD|TDM Systems on Mac" forum page but think it is probably more suited here.
Try re-creating these steps if you have a moment and see if you get the same results. Create a brand new empty session. 1. Create a new audio track 2. Record a bar or two of audio 3. along the timeline, record a few more bars of audio so you have a few different regions. 4. highlight the regions and region group them .. opt+cmd+G 5 Et voila. It works just the way it should ok, so now try this: 1. Create new audio track 2. Loop record some audio for a few bars. 3. Expand alternatives to new playlists. 4. Do a quick comp using ctrl+opt+V to promote 5. Now on your comped track, highlight the different regions 6. Now try to region group those regions 7. et . WTF .. it doesn't work So me thinks it's a bug ... What say thee? If so, would be great if Digi could fix it in the next release. |
