MIDI problem with Esoundz drum library for SampleTank
I bought the ESoundZ drum library for SampleTank.
The problem is that standard MIDI files with drum patterns don't play correctly on it. The standard MIDI frmat for drums specifies that the kick is on C2, the sanre D2, etc... All the SampleTank drum libraries that came with XL follow the specification, and play perfectly with DrumTrax patterns, but none of the Esoundz. Has anyone seen this problem? Short of shifting notes by hand, which is a massive pain, is there a way to proceed? IK Jason, is there a way to change a SampleTank preset to assign the drum components to different notes? Other options?
