Can PT 9/10 work with UAD v8 software?

I am running PT 9 (w/Snow Leopard) and will upgrade soon to PT 10 (w/Lion) and am wondering if you can use UAD v8 software even though it hasn't been tested by UAD? Will it work at all? Are there issues? Thank you!
