Monitor mode
Why haven't Avid incorporated this into Pro Tools 9? I don't even see why it was never in PTLE, this is something that has been standard on other DAW's since forever.
I know there is the easy work around of using an aux track, and I actually enjoy doing that as every time I need to do it I think FU to whosever idea it was not to put it in lol, but seriously, why do we still not have it. Be interesting to get DigiTech's view on this.

There are several threads about this already and a voting thingo that you may wish to peruse.
I agree, it's not an option but a necessity.
