Default Dual PC monitors for Macpro?

Was wondering if these would work for a Macpro 2006? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D78QCYK/...KM3G2IXM&psc=1

Hi

Those would work as long as you have a dual video card so you can run the two and that you have the correct adapter if you have a VGA card and wanna use the DVI which is far better graphics

Basically all the monitors works with Macs as long as you have the correct connectors for using either VGA or DVI

Best Regards

I never recommend Apple monitors
I always recommend something like you have linked to but I prefer a monitor with height adjustment

So the Mac I bought has two dvi inputs, is that safe to assume it has the necessary cards to support two monitors?

If it has one video card with 2 X DVI it's safe to say it will work

You're more than Welcome

Let us know how you get on with the monitors when they are setup in your studio.

Sincerely

Just an FYI:

When inspecting graphics cards to see if they can run all outputs simultaneously, here's the rule of thumb: if you have multiples of DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort, you're in the clear. If you have a mixture of those as well as a VGA, check with the manufacturer.

The reason for this is that many cards use a VGA port that shares a RAMDAC with one of the other ports, which means they cannot use both of those ports simultaneously for two separate displays.

So I expect that he has 2 DVI ports and should have no issues with this dual setup
