Default Running Windows HD3 on a Mac

Is anyone running an HD3 system on one of the new Intel Macs under Bootcamp as a Windows system? Can anyone give any advice?

The Macintosh OS is far superior to that of Windows, it is integrated into the entire computer----I question, why would someone want to do such a thing? Windows can certainly be a decent operating system, but it is an open-ended operating system that can use any computer no matter who builds it or what components they use. I bought my 8-core Mac to get away from Windows.....and it's been 100% stable and solid as a rock since. If you have a MAc, use it the way it was intended......why ruin a good thing with Windows? I used to be a die-hard Windows guy, it's come that far.

With the Windows vs OSX opinions aside, running a professional recording rig from a VM is just a bad idea. Either from Windows to Mac via VM, or Mac to Windows. A VM takes processing power, which takes away from what your rig can utilize. You'd also have to correctly allocate as much memory as possible to your Windows side to run PT, which make make the VM unstable because there's not enough from the Mac side.

Thanks for the answers guys. The reason I even ask is because I have outside engineers that use my studio & some are more comfortable with the Windows platform than they are with Mac. I just wanted to know if Bootcamp would offer me both options.

I wouldn't use it under Bootcamp. It is a VM that will not work too good in most cases.
