7.1.2 interleaved files issue
Is anyone having issues with 7.1.2 files? On 'import audio' protools splits out the files into 10 monos but puts them in the wrong order. When I drag them on a 7.1.2 track I've made the centre and right channels are swapped.
Any ideas?

Re: 7.1.2 interleaved files issue
What did you use to make the 7.1.2 interleaved file?
I have seen a similar error with audio coming out of Premiere as a 5.1 interleaved (SMPTE) where PT is reading the file as Film. Randall

Re: 7.1.2 interleaved files issue
I'm used sometimes 7.1 interleaved files with no problems!
Why 7.2, who is using this? May be its better to work with monofiles in this configuration? |

Re: 7.1.2 interleaved files issue
Protools is always using film order tracks. So the import might be correct, you have to re-order the mono tracks into film order before dragging it to the multichannel track.
