Transfering a nuendo session to pro tools
Hello. I have a client who tracked with a guy using nuendo, and i am mixing it, and would like to use pro tools (DUH) to mix, and edit. Anybody know the easiest way to do the transfer? to top it off the guy uses nuendo for PC, so im not sure whats up..any help would be much appreciated. I have never used nuendo, but used cubase many many years ago.don't really remember it anymore.
thanks Erik |

Re: Transfering a nuendo session to pro tools
You'll need him to save/export it in omf format, then you'll need to get either the digitranslator or the DV toolkit and import the omf. The demo of digitranslator will work if you haven't already exceeded your time-limited trial.
If you can't get that to work, you can always have him consolidate the tracks (I can't recall what that's called in nuendo at the moment) to a common starting point (common down to the sample) and save the files and then just line them up in a new PT session.
