The $99 PT 9 Crossgrade for new LE hardware purchased after October 4th

I don't think I was asking free in either of my last two posts. I am only trying to find out if the topic of this thread has a definite answer. I have read all of the posts and there did not seem to be a definitive answer about it. The post from "gevatron" on 9/15/2011 (#84 if you scroll back) seems to indicate that there is (or was) a discount. That is what I am trying to find out and I am posting here because The regional rep won't respond. I did have a customer support person tell me two days ago that if an Avid dealer still has PT9 in stock that I can get the $249 crossgrade. I am trying find out about other discounts before I make my choice.

I believe the $99 was for those who bought just the Protools 8 software by itself, within a few weeks before the release of Protools 9.
