Expansion Pack Question

I have an IMac 10.7.7 with the 11R as my only interface with PT 10. I believe that I did not get the expansion pack even though it was stated so on the box that I purchased. My 11R version states 1.0.3. As far as I can see Avid states that the Expansion Pack is only compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.6 - 10.6.7. Is the reason I don't see it on my 11R screen is because of my OS? Makes no sense.

Second question, I assume I would be able to see the Expansion pack extras on the 11R window on the unit itself correct? Or would I only see them in the editor window when I launch it through PT?

This is just a shot in the dark, but have you registered PT yet? If so, log into the Avid site and look under "My Software" or "My Downloads" or something like that. The EXP may be there ready and waiting to be downloaded.

Just wondering, was the ERXP supposed to be pre-installed on the unit or did you buy the ERXP? Was this a unit that was sold with PT9 or 10?

If the unit was SAID to include the ERXP, then it would have been pre-installed. If your firmware version is showing 1.0.3 then you do not have the ERXP installed on the unit itself. So in that case, if the ERXP was supposed to be pre-installed, you need to call or email Avid. They can verify the 11R registered to your account and then issue you a S/N and ID code so you can install the ERXP on the 11R unit.

If you are running PT 10.2? (i think) then the new UI files should already be included, if they are not or if you run an older version of PT just follow the instructions in the link above.
