To be honest everything work just fine, no issues at all so far.
So, if you have the Mbox 3 Pro and thinking of updating the Mac to Catalina, do a backup and give it a go! It should be working, and if it doesn't you can simply use Time Machine.
Again, I'm working right now on my PT HD 2019, iMac 2017, Catalina 10.15.3 using Avid Mbox 3 Pro... All good!
This is interesting. I wonder if because you updated (instead of a clean install), the underlying driver continued to function. Can you launch the MBox Pro application? I doubt you can, which would make adjusting parameters impossible. Post again with more info!

You can believe it or not, but I am working using the Mbox 3 pro and Catalina, and it works! I don's see the point of giving you a fake information.

Ok, so,
yes: I'm not able to open the Mbox 3 pro application, and
yes: I updated instead of doing a clean install.
Apart from the Mbox app that doesn't work, all the rest works perfectly, so at least I don't have to buy a new audio interface right now.
