Default HEAT or Phoenix?

What say you?

The Phoenix can be applied to all Track types, and costs less.

Anyone tried them both out?

BR,
John

I am quite surprised to be honest that AVID invented HEAT as an AUDIO TRACK ONLY thing. no HEAT on AUX no HEAT on MASTER no HEAT on INSTRUMENT TRACKS ... would appreciate a quote from digitechsupport here... will there be an update for HEAT coming to give the option to support other track-types as well...? which truly should have been there right from the start... at least for instrument and or aux tracks...

Well,

I was very quick in requesting the HEAT demo, so I got a 14-day license instead of 30 and I haven't had much time with it yet (work to do) and it expires tomorrow.
I have emailed for a Phoenix demo but not received any reply.

BR,
John

Ditto. I find that strange. Unless they are planning to pitch us HEAT+ that will do these things for more money.

Might be strange if it were a plug-in - but it's not a plug-in, it works differently than a plug-in. I would try it if I were you...

Why would you want it on anything else. It will be overkill????? I turn my VI's into Audio anyway.
