question regarding Core Audio and 002
I have Reason set to playback through the Core Audio driver on my Mac and into my 002. This works great, but is it possible to then combine Reason with another analog input on my 002, mix them together, and then output through the mains, or can the 002 only accept inputs from my Mac/Core Audio???
PT is not part of this scheme in any way- i'm trying to work with synths and samplers that i'm using in a different program... many thanks for any advice... -Andrew |

Re: question regarding Core Audio and 002
Can't do it with Digi Core Audio and Reason. For this, you should run Reason in ProTools.

Re: question regarding Core Audio and 002
Thanks again, Tele...
I'm using Sibelius with 2 outboard synths and 2 software synth/samplers. It's nice to have seperate output control over my two software synths (Reason and Kontakt). I use the Mac soundcard for one and the Digi CoreAudio for the other, and am still trying to figure out how to make everything work seamlessly in my studio. i'm having fun, but ocasionally run into some snags It's pretty impractical to have all these things open in addition to PT... talk about a meltdown -Andrew |
