12.3 Commit Rendering Very Slow?
I've tried the new commit feature on a number of VI tracks, mainly with Addictive Drums. The time is takes to commit the track seems way too long. The rate is roughly 1.7x during the rendering, which is not very quick. Am I missing something? On a 3 minute song, I'm not saving much time. I would think commit would be super fast, hence the point of it.
In addition, when I tried the drag/drop a midi clip selection to an audio track for immediate commit, it also takes a very long time. I experimented with a 20 second clip of midi and it took around 1 minute to render to audio. That doesn't make sense to me.

Re: 12.3 Commit Rendering Very Slow?
Not in my experience but I read yesterday something about UAD and render/ commit being slow due to the oversampling UAD use... helps with quality of sound but slows down the commit... Maybe thats an issue? Worth investigating more I guess.
