Default Pro Tools 11 Windows 8 video issue
Hi there,
i am using Pro Tools for many years for soundesign
on both platforms MAC and PC
I have problems with video playback on PC
any mov or mp4 file plays almost double speed
so its totally out of sync
the same session in PT 10.3.6 is ok

Desktop PC:
Custom Build
intel Core i5-3550
ram 16 Gb
Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit

What video card are you using? Are you using 2 different cards?

It is ASUS P8 Z77-V motherboard build Intel(R) HD Graphics
no other cards.

This may be different now, but integrated graphics have previously been a major no-go with Pro Tools.

works like a charm in PT 10 and the same chipset as intel MAC BOOKS

Try disabling "Prevent Tearing" or "Enable GPU" in Preferences>Operation. There may be a bad interaction with your GPU.
