Default Pro Tools LE 8 on Mac Mini Server

Hi,

Is it possible to run Pro Tools LE 8 on a 2010 Mac Mini Server with Snow Leopard Server OS? I want to use the Mac Mini Server as a stand-alone machine, not networked. If possible I would be interested in using one of the internal 7200rpm drives to run the application and the other to save the audio.

Many thanks,

Bek.

I'm 99% sure you need regular SL to run Pro Tools... but it's not at all hard to get a hold of, and it should install without any dramas.

You can resize partitions on SL no probs, worst case split the main drive in to two partitions assuming you need to retain SLS, install regular SL for $30 and install Pro Tools and you should be good to go.

I'm currently running Leopard and SL on my MBP just while i make sure SL doesn't break compatibility with any of my existing apps/plugs etc.
