Default 002 as HD edit station

Any reason the 002 would be less than ideal for editing HD sessions recorded at 96 or below?

As long as you don't need TC or pulldown (i.e. you are only doing music, not post) it should be fine. More than 32 tracks would be a problem as well, you'd have to break up your sessions or use playlists.

Yep, & also remember that you're going from TDM plug-in architecture to RTAS (as I'm sure you know). So you might have to print favorite TDM FX to tracks, re-assign to RTAS equiv. or whatever workaround you prefer...

I think it is a great idea if it works, HD at the office, 002 at home. Especially during drum editing. That is always my biggest editing issue. And no, I don't want another drummer, this one is nice and does what he's told.
