Default Is OS 10.8.2 approved for PT 10.3.2?

Can't find that specific info anywhere... and since you can't use search on forums with terms like 10.8.2 (comes up with nothing even though I can see plenty of posts referencing 10.8.2---why not????) figured I'd just ask first.

10.3.2 runs rock solid with 10.8.2. Don't know if there's an official statement, but at least I haven't heard anyone complaining about that specific constellation.

It has not yet been 'officially' approved yet. There is a 'Technical Announcements' thread here that me toons the release of all updates and when each new OS is approved.

Nothing but trouble here. Had to revert to 10.7.4 to get PT & Mac OS to play nice.

If your signature is correct it's due to you having the older, non-tested/supported Mac Pro (follow the link from Richard for more info).

Running a 2010 Mac Pro here with 10.8.2 and PTHD 10.3.2, running pretty good. Ran into a few issues with Soundminer and PT but I'm still troubleshooting it and it appears to be on the SM side of things.

Running PT 10.3.2 on OSX 10.8.2 on a mid 2011 iMac 27" with relatively few problems. One is, and I have a thread in the Guitar subforum, is that the 11 Rack disappears from time to time in the View menu pull down. That comes and goes. I don't lose audio through the 11R though. The other problem is Kontakt 5 sometimes crashing PT but then again that's a known problem for many - we're waiting on updates from NI on that. Both NI and Avid know about that problem.

Edit: forgot to add that I have 3 drives: 1 internal 2 TB system drive, 1 2 TB FW800 drive for PT to record to and a third 2 TB drive hung on a Thunderbolt to FW800 adapter for samples. 24 bit 44.1 KHz.

just fyi...I am using this combo and it seems OK on my old mac book pro..there have been crashes occasionally, and there were buffer issues that had to be addessed

But as a voiceover my track and plug in needs are strictly limited

With my current computer, recording to the system drive (!), I don't think it would be great for recording big songs with loads of tracks etc

just some info/input
