Default Error Pro Tools Express on Windows

Pro tools registered activated and on my ilok. I have been trying for days to start pro tools express. "missing ilok authorization for "pro tools express". I am not new to computers but this one has me stumped. It shows up on my ilok account and the ilok itself but wont start

Express only works with specific audio interfaces. What interface was this software bundled with, and is that interface connected to your computer and powered on and what interface driver do you have installed?

What OS and other systems details? Start at the "Help us Help You - READ THIS Before Posting!" link on the page above. Ideally post a SiSoft Sandra report as described there.

You should also do a complete uninstall of Pro Tools, and reinstall the latest version of Pro Tools Express (10.3.4) from your Avid account at http://account.avid.com

Came bundled with the M-Tracks plus. Running windows 8.1 with a core i5 processor and 16 gigs of ram(ddr3). The video is on the inmusic web sight(Installing and Authorizing Avid Pro Tools Express) and yes the M-Tracks is powered up. Will have a Sandra report for you in a minute. Sorry don't mean to be a pest. Just a bit frustrated. Thanks for your help

No version of Pro Tools Express is officially supported on Windows 8.x. Whether it works at all is another question. Hopefully others might speak up here or you could also try asking on the M-Audio site.

I notice that M-Audio at least has device drivers available for Windows 8. I would start by confirming you have those installed and/or unisntall and reinstall them just to be safe. See M-Audio downloads. (if that link does not work just search for the drivers on the M-Audio web site).

OK, so this is the audio interface you have:
M-Track Plus

There is a link at the top right of that page that says "NEW Drivers Available". Make sure you have installed those.

Operating System(s):
Windows 7 32-Bit, Windows 7 64-Bit, Windows 7 32-Bit SP1, Windows 7 64-Bit SP1, Windows 8 32-bit, Windows 8 64-bit

Release Notes:
- Regardless of M-Track product, its ASIO driver device name will appear as “M-Track Quad ASIO Driver” in all applications.
- The ASIO Drivers hould be used with all audio applications that support ASIO (such as AIR Ignite). WASAPI style drivers are lower performance and have been found to be unstable in some applications.
