Default Sampletank 2.0 is not listed in PT 8.0?

I just realized that my Sampletank 2.0 is not listed under all my plugins in PT 8.0.
It is not in the unused folder.....is there something I need to do in order for PT8 to see it?

It worked fine with my old 7.1

I opened up an aux stereo track...went to look for it and there was no Sampletank?

Thanks!

from what i recall, IK products don't seem to work in v8. i think the workaround is to disable multiple processors in pt...but that pretty much renders my low-end machine useless...so....
i think we're waiting for an update from IK.
amplitube 2.1.2b and sampletank both went away when i went to 8. both worked fine in 7.4cs8.

I have become SO weary of IK and NI... I have recently uninstalled it all.

I'm using Amplitube 2.1.2b and Sampletank L 2.5.2 with PTLE8 and I'm not having any problems.

Here's a photo reference.

I do agree that IKMultimedia needs to pay more attention to the details, though. The plugins routinely report the wrong (or none at all!!) version.

I honestly only use Sampletank for very few things, and since I got Eleven, I haven't been using Amplitube at all.

I'm using Sampletank LE 2.5.x and amplitube 2.x regularly with no problems. NI Guitar rig runs also fine but when I use Eleven free and SansAmp I'm immediately running into 9xxx error messages. Perhaps I'm simply running out of muscles.

With Eleven I can see that, with SansAmp there should be no issue unless it’s the demoralization issue. For that, just insert a dither plug before the SansAmp.

that's wild. it just moves mine to the unused plugins folder, i move it back to the plugins folder, and again, it never loads, and just moves it back to the unused bucket. other people have been having issues with these plugs around here. i've only tried to use them on a clean v8 install, though...i have other issues with the clean (i.e. 7.4 never being installed) installs of v8 too...particularly with novation hui control. works fine going 7.4-8, but with no 7.4 first...no joy.
i just gave up and use amplitube (i rarely use sampletank either) in reaper.
