Default Profire 2626 not working with macOS Sierra

Hi,

Yesterday, I went ahead and updated to Sierra. As I suspected my audio interface would not work because it is no longer supported by the manufacturer. So, I reverted back. While I was there, I could still open sessions but forgot to check to see if the meter lag had gone away when you open a plugin.
I would like to know if Sierra fixed this before I consider purchasing a new interface.
Sorry, I could have done this myself.

Have you tried disabling SIP after installing Sierra? Might be the reason your interface was not recognized. I have to run with SIP disabled otherwise my SSL card is non-existent in El Capitan. Latest driver for the MADI card is from 2011 - good job SSL!...

all good for me apart from Mini Grand... Two different systems both have the same problem of cut-short samples.

It was gone for me in 10.11.6 - I just installed Sierra and there's absolutely no difference at all regarding PT's performance. 100% identical. If it's impossible to install Sierra on 1/2,1 Mac Pros, that's kinda comforting at least!

I have 2 Profire 2626's. M-Audio flat admits that the hardware will not work after osx.

Did they tell you why?
They did Capitan drivers then. I bet they work in Sierra too.
